Holland Village is the highlight of the Holland district. It is located in the central region of Singapore. Popular with the expatriate community for its bohemian experience including a vast array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. From the 1930's to the withdrawal of the British in the 1970's, Holland Village has always been a centre for expatriates. Kent Ridge Park
jogger The design of the park takes full advantage of the natural vegetation and topography of the site. Various look-out points offer visitors magnificent views of the off-shore islands like Pulau Duran Darat. If you are a fitness enthusiast, Kent Ridge Park is the place to be. the most number of fitness stations - 20 to be exact. Nature groups will enjoy the nature trail. Pitcher plants and wild orchids are found along this trail. On the eastern side of the park, towards the valley, is a natural pond teeming with turtles and fish such as the Japanese koi.
