The natural vegetation is the secondary forest with groves of Tembusu, Acacias and Dillenias. You can hear the sounds of birds and insects breaking the silence and serenity of the park, while you stroll through the meandering path towards the two ponds at the foot of the ridge and enjoying the serene ambience away from the hustle and bustle of city living. One of the last battles for Singapore was fought on this hill which dominated the harbour and the British military depots in the Ayer Rajah area. A plaque was installed at Carpark B in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the end of World War II. As part of the Army's adoption of the park as The Army Green Park, two decommissioned M114 Artillery Guns and an AMX-13 Light Tank are displayed in the park to provide points of interest. Canopy walk-Measuring 280-metres long, the bridge links Kent Ridge Park to the museum Reflections of Bukit Chandu, enhancing the park’s and museum’s accessibility to the public, especially the elderly and physically challenged. Walk along the bridge, you will be able to see sunbirds, doves, squirrels, lizards, and white-crested laughing thrushes. Apart from the signages that provide educational information on the various plants at the park, there is also a shelter for visitors to take a short break. The park is lit from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Facilities : Fitness stations, shelters, restroom, multi-purpose court, nature trail,canopy walk, mountain bike trail.
